Madame Butterfly Collection

The story of Madame Butterfly originated in 1898 as a short novel by John Luther Long,
and was later adapted into both a play and an opera.
While the narrative portrays a tragic romance,
it also carries misinterpretations, romanticization,
and cultural and historical imbalances rooted in its time.

With this collection, Dinto seeks to re-examine the past—
